Adam Matthew Digital supporting UKSG’s 2021 bursary programme

We are delighted to announce that, as well as being this year’s UKSG virtual conference Gold Sponsors, we are also supporting two participants in the UKSG bursary programme. The programme offers a professional in their early career the opportunity to attend the conference, engage with like-minded delegates, access resources, and assist with their career development.

Two AM Digital sponsorships have been awarded. Julie Roberts is currently studying Information and Library Studies MA at Aberystwyth University, as well as being a campus librarian at Coleg Sir Gar, and Alice Hardy is a Learning Resource Coordinator at the Sheffield College.

I am looking forward to attending UKSG and would like to thank Adam Matthew Digital for this opportunity. Almost one year into my MA the conference is an ideal opportunity for me to broaden my knowledge and learn, not just from librarians but also from publishers, intermediaries, and content providers. I look forward to putting this knowledge into practice in my upcoming assignments on information services, information organisation, collection management, professional research, and ultimately my dissertation.

Julie Roberts

I am new to the librarian role and I want to learn as much about the industry as I can. The UKSG Conference is the perfect opportunity for me to learn new skills and to network with others within the industry. I’d like to thank Adam Matthew Digital for the opportunity, and I hope to gain valuable knowledge and insight which I can share with my colleagues.

Alice Hardy

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Julie and Alice and hope they have a wonderful and rewarding experience at the UKSG conference this year.

If you are attending the UKSG 2021 conference, then please do stop by our virtual booth to speak with one of our team, to review our ‘New for 2021' products, and to see what sessions we will be presenting at the conference.
