It is my pleasure to serve as a Library Sales Manager for Adam Matthew Digital in the Southeast. With 15 years of experience working as a professional archivist, my area of interest has always been increasing accessibility to archival resources that often are underutilized. Joining the Adam Matthew team was a natural fit because of the company’s strong tradition of providing high quality access to primary resources from around the globe, bringing these unique resources out of archival boxes and into the 21st century classroom. Our highly specialized and diverse databases include advanced metadata, high quality digital images, and innovative tools like geospatial mapping and HTR technology, which give researchers the ability to search one document or thousands of documents faster and more efficiently than ever before. The attention to detail and thorough review by reputable academic editorial boards makes incorporating these comprehensive resources user friendly for the novice researcher and the experienced academic professor alike.
As a library sales manager, I enjoy working with libraries to connect them to these outstanding resources that match their areas of specialty and enhance their researcher’s experience. Building long-term relationships with librarians and knowing that their researcher’s needs are being well served is an incredibly rewarding part of the job.
I am based out of beautiful Roanoke, VA where I live with my husband and three children. When I am not working with libraries or driving my kids to activities, I enjoy reading, running and a competitive game of Scrabble.
