We are looking for a Personal Assistant to proactively manage the day to day administrative tasks for the MD, Editorial Director and Publishing Director. This role would allow the right candidate to grow and develop in a friendly and creative environment.

 

Reporting to The Managing Director your main duties will include:

  • Diary management and arranging appointments
  • Plan and prepare for internal and external meetings (including SMT), such as preparing agendas and paperwork
  • Attend internal and external meetings and take minutes where required
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for use in internal and external meetings, conferences, and other internal and customer-facing events
  • Support with office maintenance including building needs and service contracts
  • Carry out research tasks
  • Find and collate company data (e.g. on historic sales or budget figures) on request
  • Look after visitors and arrange hospitality and events including off-site meetings

 

This role requires an individual who is able to:

  • Multitask and prioritise their own work load
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Use their own initiative to make sure all work meets the standards expected across the company
  • Possess excellent communication skills and assertiveness
  • Be flexible with some travel required
  • Discrete due to dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft programs
