Regina Lee Blaszczyk

Regina is Leadership Chair in the History of Business and Society at the University of Leeds in the UK. She is the author or editor of nine books, including Imagining Consumers: Design and Innovation from Wedgwood to Corning (2000); Producing Fashion: Commerce, Culture, and Consumers (2008); American Consumer Society, 1865-2005: From Hearth to HDTV (2009); and The Color Revolution (2012). Her essay on Ernest Dichter and the peacock revolution appears in Ernest Dichter and Motivation Research (2010), edited by Stefan Schwarzkopf and Rainer Gries. Her cultural biography of Ernest Dichter and transatlantic consumer culture has been funded by a Marie Curie Career Integration Fellowship from the European Commission.
