Archives Direct is our name for the suite of collections sourced from The National Archives, Kew. We are in the process of designing a portal called Archives Direct in which all these collections will be clustered. Customers will always be able to purchase individual collections separately from within the portal, but customers who acquire the complete portal will benefit from greater discounts and from the ability to search across all collections within the portal.

With our new digital facility based at Kew; Adam Matthew will be releasing some major new content from this world famous archive of information.

Archives Direct titles available this year:

• Confidential Print: North America, 1839-1961
• Foreign Office Files China, 1949-1976
• The Nixon Years, 1969-1974
• Macmillan Cabinet Papers, 1957-1963
• Women in the National Archives

Each collection will have detailed meta-data or full-text search capabilities depending on the nature and size of the material.

With all Archives Direct collections, users will be able to explore unrivalled information from the UK government’s official archive.
